The Commissioning process is a critical step in ensuring that the site has been Constructed properly and that all electrical subsystems are optimally performing. This has long term revenue implications, since even a small under performance can add up to tens of thousands of dollars over the system lifetime. In the past, one challenge in meeting the project schedule was challenges with the Independent Engineering accepting the Commissioning Test Results.  Fortunately under Phillip Day’s leadership, the entire Day Electric team became familiar with Madison’s Technical Specification and more importantly they have a deep understanding of the Independent Engineering firm’s Test expectations. Day Electric has conducted Commissioning testing on smaller rooftop system (300-500kW), multiple Carport System (400 – 600kW), and a 3.5 MW portfolio of Fixed Tilt Solar PV on 5 Cold Storage Warehouses in in Vernon California. On each of these projects, Day’s technical team delivered a quality work product on time, communicated well with our Project Manager and was promptly answered the Independent Engineering firm’s technical questions.
