Constructing commercial and utility-scale solar projects can come with complications and project delays for various reasons. Solar energy systems are complex energy systems that involve more than installing equipment and bringing the system online. Before a project can reach project closeout, equipment must be installed correctly and match as-built drawings, electrical systems must be verified, communications must function as intended, project documentation must accurately reflect the completed installation, and the system must be performing as expected.
